In the perfectly normal experience of the Christian life…
1. The Lord assuages our fears with himself and affirms a promise of reward
2. Even for the steadfast, doubt often comingles with belief
3. God always brings reminder of his promises to his people
4. God grants an existence of favored righteousness through a simple trust in his promises
5. God gives an objective action as the foundation of assured promises (which we have as Christ on the cross and the indwelling Spirit)
