The Son of Man has all dominion, glory, and power. His is the eternal Kingdom so that all would serve him. Throughout the law and the prophets, we see that these things are only ascribed to the LORD, Yahweh, Jehovah. Jesus is God, and he sits on the throne with all dominion and glory over his everlasting Kingdom. And yet these officials think they will put Jesus on trial. You don’t put the Son of Man on trial. The Son of Man rules as the Son of God over all things. Hebrews 4:13 And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
