…God proved faithful to his word. He dwelt with his people. He attended to them. He provided for them, even as their circumstances changed, and diverged from the expected.
The promise of God’s presence, which coincides with his provision, gives us confidence for living.
If we believe that God goes with us, and attends to our paths, and provides for us, according to his purposes, (not our preference!) then we have confidence to live and act and carry out God’s purposes in the world, regardless of any divergence in our circumstances.
