We live in an age where we hear the constant lament of the decline of Christianity. Run a search online for “declining Christianity” and you’ll be able to page through millions of links that purport to reveal declining interest in Christianity and declining impact of Christianity upon the world. If you listen long enough to your friends or neighbors, or perhaps even yourself, you’ll hear people lamenting the removal of God from society, from schools, from public discourse.
