Sermons on Courageous Faith (Page 2)
Coming to Jesus in Desperate Faith (Luke 8:40-56)
Coming to Jesus requires faith. Effective faith requires us to recognize our need for Jesus. When we come to Jesus, we can trust in His timing and be confident that He will take notice of us, even if we feel as though we are hidden in the crowd.
The Sovereign Commander of the Seas (Luke 8:22-39)
Jesus displays his authority over the storms and the demonic Legion. For those who understand the authority of Jesus, they are able to find calm in the midst of the storm and go forth in confidence to declare all the wonderful things God has done for His children.
Seeing Beyond Your Circumstances (Luke 7:18-35)
Sometimes our circumstances cloud our ability to see Jesus and believe that He really is the Messiah. In this passage, Jesus teaches John the Baptist that He really is the Messiah, regardless of what is happening to John.
The Nature of Audacious Faith (Luke 5:12-32)
In this passage, we see that coming to Jesus via faith requires audacity without presumption. Faith isn’t just believing certain facts about Jesus but believing that Jesus is worth coming to and entrusting our entire life to Him.
