Before and After (Colossians 1:1-2)
The introductory message into the book of Colossians. A look at the supremacy of Christ who reveals who God is and how He redeems His people. We see in Colossians 1:1-2 a God who calls the unrighteous to salvation, gives his people grace to live in holiness and faithfulness and brings them into a relationship of peace in and through Him. Redeemed (Colossians 1:9-14)
Colossians 1:9-14 9 And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. 11 May you be strengthened with all…

The Path to Blessing (Psalm 1)
A look a Psalm 1 where the author speaks of two paths in life…one of righteousness and one of wickedness. Only the path of righteousness leads to true blessing and it begins by delighting in God and His ways.

A look at Naaman and the Israelite slave girl in 2 Kings 5 from the perspective of the disciples. They had asked Jesus who could be the greatest in the Kingdom (Matthew 18:1). Jesus said one must become as humble as a little child (18:3). The slave girl teaches us true humility and how it expands the Kingdom of God.
